Jesus I still can’t get my network card to work!
I think I’m starting to hate Linux. Why the hell do you have to spend so long trying to get one small component to work? It’s really getting on my nerves and I’m almost beginning to regret installing it in the first place. Ubuntu doesn’t seem to have half of the necessary components built into it. And when I go to install them from the package manager the download obviously fails because I have no connection.
It’s a pity because the operating system looks good, it just doesn’t work for me. I’ve spent 8 hours seemingly on a fools earn and it isn’t worth the effort. I don’t seem to be getting any closer to fixing it. I might try another distrubtion if I can’t get it working by the end of the week. At least Mandriva ran out of the box.
I’m exhausted. I was up until 2am last night. For nothing. I am not a happy bunny.
