Happy 1st Birthday Take More Risks.com
This website was born on this day exactly a year ago. I don’t know what else to write. I’m finding it pretty hard to get back into the ways of Web Development. It just doesn’t interest me much at the minute. Yet at the same time I don’t do anything during the day. This is shit. How the fuck do you pull yourself out of a rut? Could anyone point me to a post offering practical advice on how to “Stop Scratching Your Balls And Actually Do Some Work”?
I’m going on holiday on Monday. Hopefully I get mugged or something. Or at least kicked up the ass. Something to kickstart me, y’know?

Yes I understand exactly what you’re talking about Matt. I’m just getting out of my rut. Start the new year off right… and check out this video it ALWAYS helps me out. I find that John Chow is just a bit out of my league and difficult to relate to so I prefer Tyler Cruz. He recently went more commercial but still great information. Check out his video and see if it doesn’t set you to pacing like it does me.

One more thing… seems I have a nasty habit of double posting without meaning to. But you might try (if you feel so inclined) going outside doing some light excercise. Some pushups and lunges maybe a light jog as well. Hit the shower and then come back to the computer. It might sound odd to us computer people but it puts me in the mode to sit down and I don’t feel like I’m mushing into my chair. You feel better, you can think more clearly, and you don’t have to resort to another glass of alchohol as I have been doing recently (oops). Just another thought.
