A Wasted Weekend with Football Manager 2007
Well, well, well, what can I say? I haven’t done any work this weekend thanks to my addiction to Football Manager 2007. The great thing is I got sacked so that’s basically the end of it until I decide to start up another career which hopefully won’t happen this side of 2008.
Maybe I should have made some New Year’s Resolutions after all….
I’ve been messing around on Second Life too and I suppose it’s quite fun. I don’t really understand it’s mass appeal though. I’ve been mainly using it as a means to terrify the public by making my character appear as grotesque as possible.
I still have no desire to create any new websites. My morale has plummeted after the failure of the 50 sites plan. It’s hard to see me getting my shit back together. Here I go again. Griping, moaning, complaining and bitching. It’s all I really know how to do. Alas, I’m mentally constipated.
I need a period away from the computer I guess. It’s not going to happen since I work in IT though. On the plus side I’ve been learning C# in work which is something new. I’ll need to buy a book on the .NET framework as the learning curve is steeper than I had anticipated.
I’m in desperate need of a kick up the arse. I’ll ask my boss to dock 5 months wages off me. Think I’m too comfortable at the minute. Ain’t gonna last forever though. Got until June.
